General Information

We offer two shipping options, 2- Day Priority Mail & Next Day. We do not offer Saturday & Sunday delivery. We cannot guarantee Monday delivery, as weather conditions sometimes prevent us from shipping over the weekend. Sweet Joy Bites is not responsible for delivery delays caused by adverse or unpredictable weather conditions.

Your brigadeiro is made fresh 1-2 business days after you place your order.

Our daily order cut-off is 1 PM CST. Orders placed after 1 PM, will calculate as if the order were placed the following day. For example, if an order is placed with Next Day Delivery on Monday before 1 PM CST, the order will arrive the following day, which is Tuesday. If an order is placed with Next Day Delivery on Monday after 1 PM CST, we will process your order on Tuesday, and the order will arrive the following business day: Wednesday.

Currently, this website ships to the U.S. addresses only, including Alaska and Hawaii. All orders to Alaska and Hawaii are shipped via Next Day Priority and include a $20.00 surcharge to the Standard Delivery Fee.

PLEASE NOTE: Although our chocolatiers are working hard to ship orders as soon as possible, delivery times may be longer than usual due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Warm Weather Guarantee

Our shipping system monitors the temperatures where your package is being delivered to ensure your gift arrives in perfect condition, no matter the weather. Upon your request, we will also include a complimentary gift message.

Shipping options include:

• 2nd Day: If you place your order before 1 PM CST on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, your order will be ship in the next day that it is received to arrive within 2 business days. If you place your order after 1 PM CST, your order will be process in the next day and ship the next possible business day. NOTE: Orders placed after 1 PM CST on Wednesday may ship out the following Monday for arrival on Wednesday.

• 1-Day: If you place your order before 1 PM CST on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, your order will be shipped the next day to arrive within 1 business days. If you place your order after 1 PM CST, your order will be process the following business day and ship the next possible business day. Orders placed after 1 PM CST on Thursday will ship out the following Monday for arrival on Tuesday.

Note: Due to the perishability of our product, we do not ship over the weekends for arrival on Mondays.
